The death of June Winnifred (MacKenzie) Kalbfleisch occurred peacefully August 9th, 2017 at Ivey’s Terrace Nursing Home. Born June 2nd, 1924, she was a daughter of John A. Later in life she also found dominoes and would play anytime, anywhere. She was predeceased by both her parents and her only sibling, her sister, Lennie MacDougall. She is survived by her daughter, Marie (Randy) Slivocka, New Glasgow, son, Fred (Marcela Gonzales), Temuco, Chile and two grandchildren, Iñaki and Stefan Kalbfleisch, also of Chile. She is also survived by her brother-in-law, Raymond MacDougall and niece, Jacqueline, of New Glasgow. The family would like to thank Dr. Jeans and the staffs at Ivey’s Terrace and Valley View Villa for their care and compassion for Mum over the past 5 years.
