Violet Hayden

New Glasgow - Violet Freda Hayden, age 81, passed away peacefully Friday, February 1, 2019, in the Palliative Care Unit of the Aberdeen Hospital after a brief battle with cancer. Born in Trenton April 28, 1937, she was a daughter of the late Helen (Earle) and Davey Hayden. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by a sister, Ada Mae. She will be missed by family and friends and her 3 cats, Tammy, Kitty and Kitty Kitty. A special thanks to Huguette Stolte, Rene Karis and Andy Cormier for helping Violet so much over the years. By request, cremation has taken place. There will be no visitation or funeral service. Burial will be in Hillside Cemetery in the Spring. Donations in her memory may be made to the Pictou County SPCA. Arrangements are under the direction of the R.H. Porter Funeral Home, New Glasgow.
