Ronald Royles

Ronald Edward Royles, known by many as "Klink", 65, of Trenton, NS, passed away unexpectedly on March 15, 2019 at home. Born in New Glasgow, he was a son of Robert Edward and Marion Beatrice (Foote) Royles. He was a former employee of Trenton Works. He had a love of music, animals, walking and trucks. He was a generous spirit who gave as much as he could to his family, friends and community. He will be missed by his family and many Tim Hortons friends. He is survived by brother, David (Linda), Trenton; sisters: Anne (George) Munro, Sutherlands River; Bonnie (Harold) Penney, Dartmouth. He was a special uncle to: Sara (Matthew) Williams, Matthew Royles, Katie Munro (Daniel Reeves) and Emily Munro; great uncle to: Jackson and Owen Royles; Cameron and Callum Williams. He was predeceased by his parents and brother Allan in infancy. Visitation 1-2 pm Saturday, March 23, in First United Church, 81 High St., Trenton, with a service to follow at 2 pm with Fergie MacKay officiating. Interment will be in Hillside Cemetery at a later date. Donations may be made in Ron’s memory to the SPCA or a charity of choice. Arrangements are under the direction of the R.H. Porter Funeral Home, Trenton.
