Emerson Perry

It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Emerson Winston Perry on March 7, 2020 in the Aberdeen Hospital, New Glasgow. Born August 3, 1941, he was a son of the late James S. and Jessie (Betts) Perry.

He was a former employee of Trenton Works. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and gardening.

Emerson is survived by his loving wife of 48 years, Mary (Anderson); daughter, Becky (Chad) Johnson; son, Gordie (Donna) Perry; and daughter, Tammy (David) Wright; grandchildren, Shauna, Gordon, Chad and Bryan; brothers, Philip (Diane); Fred; and Edward Perry.

He was predeceased by cherished granddaughter, Megan; sisters, Annie, Janie, June, Helen, Aileen and Shirley; brothers, James, Ernest, Jack, George, Vernon, William and Gary.

Cremation has taken place. There will be no visitation or service per his request. Arrangements are under the direction of R.H. Porter Funeral Home.
