June Mary Patricia Legere, age 84, of the Glen Haven Manor and formerly of Brookside Ave., New Glasgow, passed away Sunday, September 28, 2014 in the Aberdeen Hospital. Born in New Glasgow she was a daughter of the late Alfred and Louise (Sullivan) MacCormack. She was a retired employee from the Goodman Co. Ltd. She was a member of Saint John the Baptist Roman Catholic Church and the C.W.L.  June is survived by daughters: Eileen (Vernon) Stinson, New Glasgow; Jane (Roddie) Anderson, Trenton; 3 grandsons, 1 granddaughter; 2 great grandchildren.  She was predeceased by her husband Alonzo "Al", son, Paul; sisters: Doris and Geraldine.  There will be no visitation by request.  Funeral mass 2 pm Tuesday in Saint John the Baptist Roman Catholic Church, with Father Gary MacPherson officiating.  Burial will be in Holy Cross Cemetery.  Donations in her memory may be made to the Aberdeen Palliative Care Society.  Arrangements are under the direction of the R.H. Porter Funeral Home, New Glasgow.
