Bonita 'Bonnie' Adams

Bonita "Bonnie" Adams (aka Bon Dog), March 29, 1948 – July 29, 2020.

Bonita "Bonnie" Adams, age 72, passed away due to Alzheimer’s at her home in New Glasgow surround by her family on Wednesday, July 29, 2020. She was born in New Glasgow, NS and grew up in Linacy.

Bonnie dedicated 37 years at Michelin before reaping the benefits of retirement with her loving husband of 50 years.

Bonnie was a dedicated mother and wife first and foremost. She treasured her children and grandchildren and embraced every moment with them. Bonnie was a loving, caring soul and made friends wherever she went. She welcomed everyone with open arms and made you feel like part of the family. She enjoyed being surrounded by people, listening and dancing to music, camping with her Cranberry crew and singing along to the guitars at the family Christmas parties. We are stronger because of you and you will be missed dearly but never forgotten.  Rest in Peace Bonnie – Mom – Bon Dog.

She is survived by her husband, Dan Adams, (over 50 years married); children: Dan Adams Jr. (Crystal Robar); Donna (Adams) Byers (Chris Byers); David Adams; 7 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren; brothers: Joseph Wilson; Howard "Chipper" Wilson; brother-in-law, Lawrence Adams; dearest friend, Mary Jane Murray; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by parents, Helen and Joseph Wilson; mother-in law, Irene Adams, father-in-law, Lawrence "Joe" Adams.
