Jessie Evelyn Munro, age 75, daughter of the late Alec and Isobel Munro of Three Brooks, Nova Scotia, passed peacefully surrounded by family after a brave battle with breast and bone cancer, Wednesday, September 9, 2020. She is survived by her sons, Duane Barry (Laurie); Dean Barry (Jennifer); grandchildren, Lexie, Abbygail, Joshua and Paige. She will be remembered by Everette and Sherilyn Barry and family, her loving cousins, extended family, many cherished friends, including the cribbage community. A heartfelt thanks go to the wonderful staff at the Palliative Care Unit, Aberdeen Hospital in New Glasgow, who provided continual compassionate care throughout her journey. As per Jessie’s wishes, cremation has taken place. Memorial service 1pm Saturday, August 20, in R.H. Porter Funeral Home Chapel, 55 Almont Ave., New Glasgow, with Rev. Donna Tourneur officiating.
