Emma Elseba Feltmate, age 98, passed away Tuesday, June 1, 2021, at Glen Haven Manor. Emma formerly lived on York Street, New Glasgow. She was born on December 7, 1922, in Trenton, NS. Emma was predeceased by her parents, Melvin S. and Muriel E. (Battersby) Feltmate, and brother, Aldon Feltmate. Emma had many jobs over the years as a teacher, office worker, and sales clerk. She was a member of Christian Fellowship Church. Many thanks to the staff in Whispering Tide at Glen Haven and to Dr. Barclay for the excellent care over the past number of years. Due to COVID, there will be no visitation. A private funeral service will take place with burial in Lorne Street Cemetery. Donations in her memory may be made to a charity of choice. Arrangements are under the direction of R.H. Porter Funeral Home, New Glasgow.
