It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of James "Jimmy" Dean Mabey on Thursday, July 22, 2021, at the age of 60.

Jimmy was a son of the late Margaret Mabey and the late Harold Mabey.

Forever in our hearts and dearly missed by his wife of 35 years, Ann; sons, Jimmy and Mathew; daughter, Laura (Kyle Abbott).

Also surviving are sisters, Paula Fraser, Kim MacPherson (Jason); sister-in-law, Joni Mabey; brothers, John, Peter (Susan) and Hal (Tammy); several nieces and nephews.

Jimmy was predeceased by his brother, Willie; infant sister, Shawn Marie; and great niece, Reagan Laffin.

The family would like to thank the Palliative Care Team, VON, 4th Floor nurses. We would also like to thank Dr. Pat Craig, Chemo Nurses (Aberdeen), Dr. Anne Kwasnik, Dr. Ravi Ramjeesingh, who all went above and beyond in their care and support, we are forever grateful.

There will be no visitation or service. Donations in Jimmy’s memory may be made to Palliative Care, Aberdeen Hospital. Arrangements are under the direction of R.H. Porter Funeral Home, New Glasgow.
