Aubrey John Price Smith, of Cedarstone Enhanced Care, Truro, formerly of Dunbar Ave., New Glasgow, passed away Thursday, Aug. 12, 2021 in Cedarstone. Born in New Glasgow, he was a son of the late Malcolm Ross and Edith (Grady) Smith. He was retired federal employee having worked at the Unemployment Insurance Center. He was a life-time member of Saint Andrews Presbyterian Church New Glasgow where he served as an elder. He is survived by sister-in-law, Joan Smith, New Glasgow; and nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his first wife, Margaret "Peg" MacArthur; second wife, Bernadette Halliday; his brother, Ross Smith Jr. and his sister, Louella Weatherbie. A family graveside service was held in Heatherdale Memorial Gardens with Rev. Andrew MacDonald officiating. Donations in his memory may be made to Saint Andrews Presbyterian Church or a charity of choice. Arrangements were under the direction of R.H. Porter Funeral Home, New Glasgow.
