It is with heartbreaking sadness that the family of Isabel Chadwick announces her passing on Saturday, August 7, 2021, at her home in the arms of her daughter.

Born in New Glasgow, she was a daughter of the late Martin and Jean (Scott) Maloney. She is survived by the last surviving member of her immediate family, her sister, Betty (Mel) Munsie; sons: Bill (Debbie), Pugwash; Rob (Al), North Vancouver; daughter, Denise, Trenton; daughter-in-law, Marilyn, North Vancouver; grandsons: Ian and Ralph, North Vancouver; Greg, Trenton; Daniel, Halifax; many nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her husband, Bill; son, Kevin; sisters: Dorothy, Sister Mary Maloney, Margaret, Glady Anderson, Phyllis Kearns; and brothers: Daniel, Charles and Mike.

The family wish to extend heartfelt thanks to long-time neighbors, Jim and Mary Brown for all their help over the past 17 plus years. Without their help and friendship, Mom would not have been able to remain in her home alone. Special thank you also to Pat Kenney, a long-time friend of Moms who walked daily with her when she was well and who visited weekly when her health no longer allowed her to go on their excursions. We would also like to thank neighbors, Francis, Robin and Wayne for their caring, assistance and friendship over the years.

Finally, the family wish to extend our most sincere thanks to Dr. Barclay (Caroline) for their unlimited compassion and care for Mom. From monthly home visits to being available for phone calls, Dr. Barclay was always there to support us in our goal to keep her comfortable in her own home. This was a gift that we will never forget.

 Cremation has taken place. Burial will be at a later date in Christ the King Cemetery, Trenton. Arrangements are under the direction of R.H. Porter Funeral Home, Trenton.
