Edison Clare (Ed) Mills - 89 years of age, passed away peacefully on his 28th wedding anniversary, September 3rd, 2021.

He is survived by his wife, Ann (Smith) Mills; daughters: Wendy Gallagher, Barbara Mills, Belinda Pettipas; sons: Dan (Laura) Mills, Paul Mills, Peter Mills, Stephen Hills; sisters: Daisy Campbell, Elaine Shanks; sisters-in-law: Marie Smith (Cecile Adams), Jean Mills, Ruth Mills; brother: Evan (Helen) Mills; uncle to many nieces and nephews; and Grandpa to 16 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren.

He was predeceased by parents: Charles R. and Clare M. Mills; first wife, Shirley A. Mills; sister, Marjorie; brothers: William, Lyle, and twin brother, Ellison; Jean (Smith) Jones, John Smith and Russell Smith, brothers and sister of Ann Mills.

He enjoyed many years of camping, square dancing and curling and was a member of the United Church and was employed by Canadian Farm Supplies until his retirement in 2001.

A family graveside service will take place at 2pm Thursday, September 16, in Heatherdale Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, Heart Foundation. Arrangements are under the direction of R.H. Porter Funeral Home, New Glasgow.
