Melakie Marie MacKenzie, age 33, of Trenton, passed away Tuesday, October 12, 2021, in the Aberdeen Hospital. Born in Edmonton, Alberta, she was the daughter of Frances (Keddy) Hill, of Trenton. She loved cross stitching, movies and her two cats, Sis and Baby. She went to school in Trenton and then North Nova. Melakie was always thinking of other people and never herself. She was very giving and thoughtful. She attended Summer Street and worked briefly for Ross Landry. She is survived by her mother, Frances; aunt, Kim (Phil) Hill; uncle, Clifford Keddy; cousins: Blaze and Karrisa Keddy, Krystal MacKenzie; great aunt, Hazel Chickness and family. Visitation 2-4 pm Saturday, in R.H. Porter Funeral Home, 73 High St., Trenton. As per Nova Scotia COVID-19 restrictions, all attendees must wear a mask and show proof of full vaccination. Donations in her memory may be made to the Oncology Dept, Aberdeen Hospital.
