Stephen William "Steve" Johnson, age 80, of New Glasgow, passed away Saturday, December 4, 2021, in the Aberdeen Hospital. Born in New Glasgow, he was the son of the late James Johnson and Rita Mae (Clark) Johnson. He worked construction in Montreal for many years. He is survived by his friend, Barbara (Barrett) Matchett; children: Jamie, Stephen, Tammie, Terry and David; sister, Vivian (Leroy) Clark. He was predeceased by sisters: Frances Yearwood, Carrie Paris and Marie Peters. Cremation has taken place. A private burial will take place in Lorne Street Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of R.H. Porter Funeral Home, New Glasgow.
