Christopher Joseph Larisey, age 56, of Trenton, passed away Friday, March 18, 2022 at home. Born in New Glasgow, he was the son of the late Bill and Joyce Evelyn (Aikens) Larisey. He worked security in Dartmouth several years ago. He loved music, was a musician and taught guitar lessons. Chris was an avid fisherman, tied flies and owned a small Fishing Supply Shop in Trenton for a while. He and his dad, Bill, shared their love of the outdoors, NASCAR racing and driving around the countryside looking for good fishing spots. He is survived by uncles, Harold and David (Joyce) Larisey and aunt, Beth Curlett (David), numerous cousins from both the Larisey and Aikens families. A shared Celebration of Life service for Christopher and his father Bill, will take place on Friday, June 2 at 1pm at R.H. Porter Funeral Home, 55 Almont Ave, New Glasgow, with a reception to follow. Burial will be at Hillside Cemetery, 27 Chance Harbor  Rd, Hillside. Donations in his memory may be made to the Alzheimer Society or to Mental Health supports in your community.
