Jeffrey "Jeff" Allan Head. It is with profound sadness we announce the sudden passing of Jeff on April 1, 2022 at the Aberdeen Hospital. Jeff passed away peacefully after a short stay in the ICU.  Jeff was born in Halifax, NS on October 23, 1979.  Jeff is survived by the love of his life, Heather, and his pride and joy, their daughter, Lailee, and their fur baby Molly.  He is also survived by his mother, Bernadette "Bernie" Withers, step-father, Allan Withers, Trenton, NS; his father, Allan Head, step-mother, Alisa Head, Lantz, NS;  his step-brothers: Derek Head, Lantz, NS; and Bob Withers (Kim Withers), Moncton, NB; step-sisters: Beckey Ross (Luke Ross), New Glasgow, NS; Sarah Head, Lantz, NS; and Rayna Thomson (Mike Thomson), PEI. Jeff also leaves his lifelong best friend and concert-going buddy, Blair Campbell (Jennifer Hart). He leaves behind many cousins, aunts, uncles, nephews, nieces, and his in-laws.

Jeff recently started his dream job as a Medical Transport Operator with EHS.  Prior to that, Jeff worked with Pictou Landing First Nation as a Medical Van Driver.

Jeff was an active member of the Trenton Fire Department, something he truly enjoyed doing.  He was also a member of the New Glasgow Elks Lodge 226.

Jeff was a die-hard sports fan with a true love for the Montreal Canadiens, the Oakland A's and the Green Bay Packers. Jeff also enjoyed watching NASCAR and curling. Jeff loved to make homemade French fries, always making sure to have potatoes on hand.  One of Jeff's greatest joys was watching Lailee play nets, there was no other time when he smiled as bright.  Jeff loved volunteering at the Fire Department and, most importantly, annoying his wife when she would try to watch one of her reality shows. A favourite pastime of Jeff and Lailee's was to pick on his mother when she would video chat Lailee. Jeff also loved to tease Lailee about her slightly oversized bunny, Coco.

Visitation will take place on Tuesday, April 5, 2022 at R.H. Porter Funeral Home, 73 High St., Trenton, NS from 2-4 and 7-9 pm.  A Celebration of Life will take place on Wednesday, April 6, 2022 at the Trenton Fire Department beginning at 5 pm. The service will be livestreamed at: https://facebook.com/events/s/celebration-of-life-for-firefi/471691938025354 Face masks are recommended for those attending the visitation or celebration of life.

Donations may be made in his memory to the SPCA, the Trenton Fire Department or the ICU, Aberdeen Hospital.

Jeff's family would like to thank the Aberdeen Hospital ER and ICU for their amazing care and support.
