David Lee Lank, age 79, of Chance Harbour, passed away Wednesday, April 6, 2022 in the Aberdeen Hospital. Born in New Glasgow, he was a son of the late Elmer and Louise (Jamieson) Lank. He was retired from Valley View Villa. David is survived by his wife, Anne (Fraser); daughter, Heather, Ontario; sons: Jamie (Shara), New Glasgow; Joe (Masae), Japan; granddaughter, Marina Joy; brother, Jack. He was predeceased by brothers: Bill, James, Robert and Ronald; sisters: Shirley and Sandra. The Lank family would like to thank Doctors Kwasnik, Craig, Farrell and Horton for their expertise and kindness. There are no words of thanks grand enough for the nurses in the VON and palliative care. We will be forever thankful for their help in getting Dave through his journey. And finally to family and friends who gave us food but really the love and support to get us through this. Cremation has taken place. A celebration of life will be held at the Little Harbour Community Centre at a later date. Donations in his memory may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or a charity of choice.
