Marie Hart, 67, of Halifax, NS, residing in New Glasgow, NS, passed away peacefully in her sleep on April 23, 2022, surrounded by friends and family. Marie is survived by two children, son, David Schnare; daughter, Jennifer Hart-Todd, and her husband, Craig. She had five grandchildren, Cheyanne, Stephen, Kara, Alex and Serena; 1 great-grandson, Carson; and her beloved cat, Onyx; two siblings, Robert and Catherine. Marie was predeceased by her mom, Helen Peters; as well as her husband, Thomas Hart. Visitation 7-9 pm Friday, in the R.H. Porter Funeral Home, 55 Almont Ave., New Glasgow. Face masks are recommended for those attending. Donations may be made to the family to help cover funeral costs.
