It is with sadness that we the family announce the passing away of James Gary Pelerine, 63, on July 16, 2022 at the Royal Jubilee Hospital in Victoria, BC.

Gary was born in New Glasgow on January 26, 1959 to the late Ann "Anna" and James "Jim" Pelerine.

He graduated from East Pictou Rural High School, and he worked construction work in Pictou County, the Cayman Islands, and for the past 25 plus years in Victoria, BC.

Gary is survived by his children, Erin and Matthew Pelerine; granddaughter, Olivia; his sisters, Carolyn Pelerine, Pauline (James) Chisholm, and brother, John (Janet) Pelerine; nieces, Lauren, Amy, and Leslie. He is also survived by very special friends, Linda and Tom Essery of Victoria, BC., many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

He was predeceased by his parents and grandparents.

A family committal service will take place at a later date in Holy Cross Cemetery, New Glasgow, NS.
