Florence Mildred MacIntosh. Mildred passed away peacefully at Ivey’s Terrace, Trenton, on Tuesday, August 30, 2022 at the age of 86.

She was born in New Glasgow and raised in Bridgeville. Mildred was a daughter of the late Percy and Belle (Fraser) MacIntosh of Bridgeville. She is survived by sister, Kay (Walter) Fanning, Hillside; brother, Earl (Cheryl) MacIntosh, Bridgeville; several nieces, nephews and their families; several cousins.

Besides her parents, Mildred was predeceased by sister, Beth Scott and niece, Darlene Scott.

Mildred was a graduate of Stellarton High School and the Nova Scotia Teachers’ College. She was a dedicated Home Economics teacher and a life-long learner.

She was an avid craft person and many family members and friends were appreciative of her many amazing talents.

The family would like to thank the wonderful staff at Ivey’s Terrace for the warm and loving care she received while there.

As per Mildred’s wishes, there will be no visitation or funeral service. Cremation has taken place. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of your choice. Arrangements are under the direction of R.H. Porter Funeral Home.
