It is with great sadness that our family announces the passing of our mother, Anne Colette McInnis, on Saturday, November 5, 2022 in the Palliative Care Unit of the Aberdeen Hospital surrounded by her family.  She was born in 1942 to the late Francis Gregory McChesney and Mary Margaret (Chisholm) (McChesney) Dunn and her stepfather, Robert (Bob) Lawrence Dunn.

Mom went to work at Maritime Telegraph and Telephone in the early 60's for a few years before having kids.  Mom was a stay-at-home mom until we all went to school. Mom loved TV bingo, and watching game shows to pass the time. An avid dart player, she was a member of the Ladies Darts at Branch 29 in Trenton and enjoyed her many trips with them to PEI.  Mom belonged to the Legion for over 35 years, was a member of the Catholic Women's League and enjoyed many Cursillos over the years.  Music was a major part of Mom’s life with so many kitchen parties in our house.

She is survived by her children: Michele (Owen), Westville; Jim (Stephanie), Wroxeter, Ontario; Rhonda (Byron), Saint John, NB; and Trevor, Trenton; chosen son, Danny (Kelly) Grace, Fraser's Mountain. Nanny and Great Nanny will be missed by grandchildren: Craig, Tiffany, Tyler, Bailey, Isabella and Mason; her great-grandchildren: Jaxton, Forrest, Eilidh, Bryson and Brynlee whom she loved beyond measure. She is also survived by sister, Mary Anita Hale; brothers: Robert (Millie), Alan and Barry Dunn; sister-in-law, Judy Dunn; several nieces, nephews and cousins.  She was predeceased by her parents; husband, Dougie; sister-in-law, Mildred Dunn; brother-in-law, Hughie Hale; and nephew, Shane Dunn.

Visitation will be 4-7pm Wednesday at R.H. Porter Funeral Home, 73 High Street, Trenton. Funeral Mass 11 am Thursday at St John the Baptist Roman Catholic Church, New Glasgow, with Fr. Tom MacNeil officiating. Burial in Christ the King Cemetery. Donations in her memory may be made to the Palliative Care Unit c/o Aberdeen Health Foundation or a charity of choice.
