Ian Leroy "Dick" MacLennan, age 79, of New Glasgow, passed away Saturday, November 12, 2022, in the Aberdeen Hospital. Born in New Glasgow, he was a son of the late Katherine Isabella MacLennan. He was a retired counsellor from the NS Training School for Disabled Children. He is survived by a brother, George (Dawn) Matheson, Alberta. He was predeceased by brother, Philip Matheson. Cremation has taken place. A private graveside service will take place. Arrangements are under the direction of R.H. Porter Funeral Home, New Glasgow.

Weep not for me though I have gone

I am at peace, my soul’s at rest
There is no need for tears
For with your love I was so blessed
For all those many years

Remember not my fight for breath
