Isabel Joyce (McLellan) Fraser, age 92, of New Glasgow, passed away Monday, December 26, 2022, in the Glen Haven Manor. Born March 18, 1930 in Pictou, she was the daughter of the late Clarissa (Stevens) McLellan and David McLellan. Joyce attended schools in New Glasgow. Later, she worked a short time in a legal office and then joined her father at china store, McLellan’s Fine China. She was a member of Trinity United Church. Joyce was a friend to many; she liked to travel and loved music. Joyce was predeceased by her husband, George. She is survived by several cousins. Special thanks to the staff at Glen Haven Manor for all the love, care and support they have given. A graveside service will be held at Lorne Street Cemetery in the Spring. Donations in her memory may be made to the Recreation Department at Glen Haven Manor. Arrangements are under the direction of R.H. Porter Funeral Home, New Glasgow.
