Heather Alma MacDonald, January 17, 1963 – December 26, 2022. The family of Heather MacDonald is saddened to announce her unexpected passing on December 26th, peacefully at home.

The youngest daughter of the late John F. and Margaret (Daisy) MacDonald of Alma, she is survived by her husband, Steven; son, Peter (Kelly), Sylvester; incredible grandchildren, Lewis and Nora; brothers: Glen, Bridgewater; Brian, Alma; Bruce, West River; Ronald, Toronto; sisters: Joan, Oxford; Valerie, New Glasgow; Mary Gwen (Gary) MacDonald, Green Hill; Clara (Jim) Hamilton, Guelph; sisters in-law: Marybelle (Alan) Gillard, Truro; Maude MacDonald, Westville; brother in-law, Howard MacDonald, Trenton; many nieces and nephews and best buddy, Texas, her beloved Golden Retriever. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by brothers, Allan and Paul; sister, Dorothy; sister in-law, Marie; and brother-in-law, Paul Rushton.

Cremation has taken place. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of R.H. Porter Funeral Home, 73 High St., Trenton, where visitation will be held on Friday, December 30th from 7-9pm. A private family service and committal will take place on Saturday, December 31st at 11am.
