Dale Malcolm Rogers (born July 6, 1952), of New Glasgow and Antigonish, passed away peacefully April 5, 2023 in St. Martha’s Hospital, Antigonish, after a long battle with illness.

He was a son of the late Margaret Bain (Bradford) and Doug Rogers.

He is survived by the mother of his children, Darlah Rogers; by his daughter, Ashleigh Roussy (Matthew) of New Glasgow and his son, Justin Rogers (Michelle) of Cremona, AB. He is also survived by his older brother, Robert Rogers (Marilyn) of Yarmouth. Dale had two granddaughters, Isla Grace Roussy and Kayleigh Renee Roussy, whom he loved dearly. Dale loved being a grandfather and cherished his girls.

There will be a service in Cape Forchu, Yarmouth (Dale's birthplace) at a later date.

The family would like to thank all of the nurses, doctors and hospital staff who took great care of Dale and made his last few months in care a bit brighter. Donations in his memory may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society. Arrangements under the direction of R.H. Porter Funeral Home, New Glasgow.
