Marjorie Sinclair (Underwood) Murphy, June 6, 1961 – May 6, 2023. Marjorie passed away peacefully at home with her family and friends close by.

She is survived by a son, Henry James Murphy (Kate); brothers: Addison Underwood (Nora), Neil Underwood (Brenda), Francis Underwood, George Underwood (Kim), Wolfred Underwood; sisters: Shirley Gillis, Caroline Worthen, Susan Underwood; close nieces: Ashley Tree (Dana), Diana MacNeil; and best friend, Lottie Murray.

She was predeceased by her husband, Jamie Murphy; brother, Billy Underwood; and parents, Lina and Addison Underwood.

A celebration of life will be held at 1pm, Saturday, May 13, at 64 St. Andrew’s Street, Pictou. Donations in her memory may be made to the Pictou County Palliative Care Society or a charity of choice. Arrangements are under the direction of R.H. Porter Funeral Home.
