Cynthia Horton

Cynthia Jane Horton passed away peacefully on April 28, 2023, after a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer. She was born on May 11, 1957, to Henry and Rosalie Horton in New Glasgow, NS. Cynthia was the 6th of their 8 children.

Cynthia was very caring and dedicated in all of her endeavors, whether it was in her work environment or at home, gardening to her heart's delight with Peter. She especially loved her visits with Brad and Theresa in Vegas, as well as trips back home to Nova Scotia to be with family and friends.

Cynthia was a sweet and loving mother, wife, sister, aunt, and friend. She is survived by her husband, Peter Green, Yellowknife; son, Bradley (Theresa) MacPherson, Las Vegas; step-daughter, Stephanie (Kenny) Adams and their children Christopher and Elana; sisters: Lee (Vic) Langille, New Glasgow; Cathy LaMothe, Phoenix; Karen (Bruce) Skinner, New Glasgow; Patricia Horton, St. Maarten; brothers: Ken (Joanne), Dartmouth; Jim (Susan), Ottawa; John (Cynthia), New Glasgow; sister-in-law, Susan (Clark) Green; numerous nieces and nephews; close friend, Cheryl Tanner; and her precious fur baby, Dixie. Predeceased by her parents, Henry and Rosalie (Campbell) Horton; nephew, Steve Horton; and close family friend, Peggy Delorey.

The family extends a heartfelt thank you to Dr. Bordman and all of the caregivers who provided such excellent care for Cynthia. The family will have a Celebration of Cynthia's life at a later date.
