Shirley Ann Clough, 80, of Pictou, passed away peacefully on June 23, 2023.  Shirley was born in Pictou and was the daughter of the late Vernon and Alice (Cyr) Clough.  Shirley lived a fulfilling life which included her many beloved fur babies. Shirley is survived by her sister, Anna Mae; brothers, Peter (Donna), Manny, Raymond and Joseph (Liz); many nieces and nephews. Shirley was predeceased by her life partner Donna, sister Helen and brothers Jimmy, Leo, Vernon, Johnny, Edward, and a son in infancy. 

Shirley was extremely grateful for all of her amazing caregivers the last few weeks of her life. The nurses and doctors at the Aberdeen Hospital, as well as the VON and palliative home care team, she referred to as her "Dream Team". 

Interment will be held at the Stella Maris Cemetery at a later date.
