It is with profound sadness we announce the sudden passing of Jaxson Johnstone on July 17, 2023. Born July 16, 2000 to parents Tara O'Connor and John Alan Johnstone, Jax was the light our lives and will be greatly missed. Jax is survived by partner/fiancé, Marcus MacIntosh (New Glasgow), their daughter, Hannah (Calgary); mother, Tara O'Connor, as well as siblings, Laura, Sarah, Ashlee, Amber, Ashley (all of Pictou County), J.T. (Berwick, N.S.); aunt, Mandi O'Connor (Stellarton); nieces, Addison Johnstone, Serenity Mcdow, and Avery Johnstone.

Jaxson was predeceased by father, John Alan Johnstone; sister, Hannah Grace; brother, Alan Johnstone; and grandparents, Ed and Janice O'Connor. 

Visitation 6-8 pm Tuesday, R.H. Porter Funeral Home, 55 Almont Avenue, New Glasgow. Donations in Jaxson's name can be made to the Hydrocephalus Foundation of Canada, the Pictou County SPCA or any animal/pit bull rescue of your choosing.
