June Radcliffe, age 92, passed away August 18, 2023 at home, surrounded by family. 

She was predeceased by her husband, Gerry, in 2011.

Born in Montreal, she was a daughter of the late William and Hazel (Doyle) Loucks. June grew up in Beauharnois, QC; she attended high school in Montreal West, where she met her husband Gerry. She worked briefly as a medical secretary, then as a full-time homemaker before venturing into the Canadian Tire business with her husband. When she retired, they toured throughout Canada and the United States. It’s nice to think she and Gerry are reunited and travelling in a shiny Airstream in the sky.

She is survived by her children, Doug (Pat) Radcliffe, Judy (Peter) Rutledge, Nancy Radcliffe; grandchildren, Jennifer, Angela, Gavin, Brett and Jeff; great-grandchildren, Brooklyn, Abigail, Ellie and Scarlet; her sister, Betty Frampton, England.

Cremation has taken place. There will be no visitation by request. A private family service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the SPCA or a local food bank. Arrangements are under the direction of R.H. Porter Funeral Home, New Glasgow.
