It is with deep sadness we announce the passing of our cousin, Lillian "Lil" Beatrice Gredzen of New Glasgow, NS. Lil passed peacefully on Thursday, December 14 at the age of 84 at the Aberdeen Hospital with her friends by her side.

She was wife of the late Gerald Gredzen, daughter of the late Patricia Gill (nee Laffin) and Robert Gill and sister of the late Robert "Bobby" Gill of Trenton, NS.  

Lil moved to Toronto in the 60's and worked for Purolator on the line.  She was there until she retired in 1983 when Jerry and Lil moved back to Trenton, NS to be with her mother.  In Toronto, she was a member of The Royal Canadian Legion Branch 217 (1975 to 2023), which later amalgamated with Branch 643.  She did catering with the Legion and met some amazing long-time friends. 

Lillian looked forward to going to see her friends at bingo and card games.  She will be missed by her friends as well as many cousins.

Lillian did not want a service. As to respect those wishes she will be cremated and a private graveside service will be held at a later date to lay her to rest with her beloved husband Jerry and family!  If you wish, donations may be made to a charity of your choosing in memory of Lil. Arrangements are under the direction of R.H. Porter Funeral Home, New Glasgow.
