Roland Herbert "Fox" Davidson, age 69, of New Glasgow, passed away peacefully in the Aberdeen Palliative Care Unit with his 3 loving children by his side on Sunday, December 22, 2024. Born in New Glasgow, he was a son of the late Arthur and Jean (MacKenzie) Davidson. He was employed as a plumber/pipe fitter and was a proud 50-year union member of the United Association. He was a very humble man who didn’t live beyond his means; loved all children and animals; always made people laugh; loved crossword puzzles and western novels; and was a definite "Momma’s Boy". "Triple og" was generous in every which way, especially with money. He was proud of his children and grandchildren. He is survived by his children: Kasta Davidson; Alexis Landry; Joshua Walsh; grandchildren: Asa and Macey Landry; sisters: Pat Symes; Donna Davidson; Lois Morrell. He was predeceased by a brother, Bill Gorman. Celebration of Life from 1-4pm Saturday, December 28, at his home, 327 Dalcrombie Dr., New Glasgow. The family invites you to come and share stories of Roland "Fox". Burial will be in Abercrombie Cemetery at a later date. No flowers by request.
