Robert Daryl Lank, 57, formerly of Abercrombie, passed away in the Aberdeen Hospital on February 3, 2025. Daryl was a son of Karen and the late Robert Lank.

He is survived by his mother, Karen (Robertson) Lank; and one brother, Donald Paul, and Paul’s children, Emily and Christopher and their mother, Kimberly Wells. He is also survived by an uncle, Don Robertson and Don’s wife, Eleanor; and numerous Lank and Robertson family members.

Daryl recently retired after 30 years of service at Valley View Villa due to medical reasons.

As per Daryl’s wishes, there will be no visitation or funeral service. Cremation has taken place. His remains will be interred at Abercrombie Cemetery at a later date. Arrangements are under the direction of R.H. Porter Funeral Home, New Glasgow.
