Ellery Dale Reddick of 306 Frederick St., New Glasgow, passed away on March 5, 2025, at the Aberdeen Hospital. Born in New Glasgow, he was a son of the late Charles and Annie (Desmond) Reddick.

He was a former member of the militia. Dale spent most of his career with CCRSB as a bus driver. He found great joy in his job and years later often told many stories of his time spent there.

He was an avid golfer. If it was a sunny day, you would find him on the golf course. When not on the greens, he enjoyed playing a game of pool, cards on Friday nights and Sunday night poker with his boys.

He is survived by his loving partner of 18 years, Cindy; sons: Cody (Janelle), Brandon (Stacey); brother, Charles (Paula); grandchildren: Zayne, Wren, Maddlson, Carter, Hunter and Lexi.

He was predeceased by his loving parents, Annie and Charles Reddick.

The family will receive visitors from 12-2pm Saturday, March 8, 2025 in the R.H. Porter Funeral Home, 55 Almont Ave., New Glasgow. Going Home service will follow at 2pm at the Funeral Home. Repast will be at the Ward 1 Center from 4-8pm. Donations may be made to a charity of choice.
