Ronald B. (Ron) MacMillan of Wellington, Ont. and formerly of Trenton NS, died in hospital in Ontario on April 19th (5 days prior to his 84 birthday) surround by his family after an auto accident. He was the fifth son of Anthony & Winnie (George) MacMillan. 

He is survived by his wife, Marlyn, of 42 years and his step children, Penny Lyn and Stephen and step grandchildren, John, Tyler, Ryan, Nichole, and Hollyann, step great-grandchildren, Taylor, Charlotte, Braden and Lily; also his sisters, Anita Greencorn, Janet Ranger, Elizabeth Gablonski, and his brother, Francis (Shirley), sisters-in-law, Becky and Rita, plus many cousins. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his sisters, Sarah and Mary and brothers, John (Edith), Hughie, Jim and Eddy (Sandra) and Paul. 

After turning 18 years of age, Ron joined the Royal Canadian Air Force and completed more than 35 years of service and retired with the rank of Chief Warrant Officer. His trade was Traffic Tech and included 14 years as a Loadmaster with more than 6700 flying hours. His cremated remains will be laid to rest in Wellington Ont. A celebration of Life will be held at the Wellington Legion Branch 160 at a later date. Ron was a life member of the Royal Canadian Legion with more than 50 years of service. He was a very active member in the operation of the Wellington Branch.
