It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Allen Langley who passed away on June 2, 2025, surrounded by loved ones. Born in New Glasgow, NS, Allen was the only son of the late Harry and Eva (Chisholm) Langley.

Allen spent most of his life and career travelling throughout selling Registered Educational Saving Plans and Life Insurance. He enjoyed meeting people, talking and socializing with them. In his earlier years, Allen loved the outdoors and to go fishing. He was a proud lifelong fan of the Toronto Maple Leafs. 

Allen was a devoted husband to Verna (Boyles) for 27 years and a loving father to his five children: Alfred (Shana), Truro; Nancy (Rollie) Baker, Liscomb; Andrew (Zoe), Hillside; Bradley (Lena) and Amber, at home. He was a proud grampy to six grandchildren: Olivia, Jonathan, Alana, Nicholas, Issac and Everley. Also surviving is a sister, Corrine Langley-Mayfield, Kentville; and several nieces and nephews including, Tamara Polley who always referred to Allen as her favourite uncle. Allen was predeceased by a son in infancy and a sister, Dianne. Allen was also loved by "The Girls", his caregivers, Donna, Christie, Mariah, Kelly, Rene and Kaidan.

Visitation 2-4pm Saturday, June 7, in R.H. Porter Funeral Home, 73 High Street, Trenton. Funeral service 2pm Sunday, June 8 at the Hillside Hall, 27 Chance Harbour Road, with Pastor Caroline Barclay officiating. Family flowers only please. Donations may be made in Allen’s memory to the Kidney Foundation.
