Kimberley Ann LeCreux, July 5, 1966 – December 10, 2025

With heavy hearts, the family of Kimberley Ann LeCreux announces her peaceful passing on December 10, 2025, at the Aberdeen Palliative Care Unit, following a brief but courageous battle with cancer. Born in Glace Bay, Nova Scotia, Kimberley was the daughter of the late Calvin and Eleanor MacKeigan. She grew up in Port Morien before settling in Trenton where she built a warm and loving life surrounded by family and friends.

Kimberley is survived by her devoted husband and best friend, Robert, with whom she shared a lifetime of laughter, adventure, and unwavering love; her cherished children: Ashley (Trevor) MacKenzie, Robert (Megan) LeCreux, and Jason LeCreux; her treasured granddaughter, Hayden; and her beloved brother, Kirk MacKeigan. She is also mourned by her extended family: father-in-law, Louis LeCreux, brothers and sisters-in-law: Alex (Lynn) LeCreux, Francey (Gary) Wilson, Ted (Leigh) LeCreux, Shirley (Roland) Hardy, Cheryl (Andy) Veinotte, and Grace LeCreux, as well as many cousins, nieces, and nephews.

She was predeceased by her parents, her mother-in-law, Roddie LeCreux; brother-in-law, Tommy LeCreux; and sister-in-law, Ann MacKenzie.

Kimberley’s life was defined by her generous spirit, her creativity, and the love she poured into those around her. She spent countless happy hours baking and crafting gifts from the heart, and she cherished her time camping on the beaches of Morien, a place that always felt like home. One of her greatest joys was exploring the backroads of Nova Scotia with Robert, intentionally "getting lost" just to enjoy the journey together.

Visitation will be held at R.H. Porter Funeral Home, 55 Almont Ave., New Glasgow, from 1–2 p.m. Saturday, December 13, followed immediately by a funeral service at 2 p.m., with Rev. Andrew MacDonald officiating.

Donations may be made to the Pictou County Palliative Care Society.
