Daniel James MacIsaac, May 18, 1948 – December 17, 2025

It is with deep sadness that I and Dan’s family announce his passing on December 17, 2025 at the Red Deer Regional Hospital.

Dan was predeceased by his mother, Ida Anderson; father, Donald E. MacIsaac; and step-father, Bruce Anderson.

Dan came from a wonderful family of four brothers and three sisters; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law; many nieces and nephews.

Dan is survived by his wife, Mary "Hoody" (McCarron); his daughter, Michelle McCaffrey (Joe); and grandson, Sean.

Dan worked at Syncrude Canada for 23 years in Fort McMurray and made many dear friends there. He was an avid Edmonton Oilers fan and loved hockey.

He fought a hard battle but was unable to continue.

Funeral service and Celebration of Life plans will be announced later.
