It is with deep sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Tyler Ivan Milne, who left this world on February 28, 2026, at the age of 24.

Born on June 1, 2001, Tyler was the beloved son of James Milne and Janet Cooper. Tyler will be remembered for his gentle soul, caring heart, and the kindness he showed to those who knew and loved him. He brought laughter, warmth, and love into the lives of his family and friends, leaving memories that will be cherished forever.

Tyler was deeply loved by his siblings, Morgan Milne and Benjamin Milne; grandparents, Len and Jean Milne, and Anita Doucet and Allan Cooper. He will be dearly missed by his uncle, Jon Milne and his aunts, Ann Marie Slawter, Lisa Doucet, Charlotte Cooper, and Stella Blackburn, along with extended family and friends whose lives he touched.

Though his time with us was far too short, Tyler’s love and spirit will remain in the hearts of all who knew him.

The wake is to be held at R.H. Porter Funeral Home, 55 Almont Ave., New Glasgow, on Sunday, March 8th from 7-9pm. A celebration of Tyler’s life will be held at R.H. Porter Funeral Home, New Glasgow, on Monday, March 9th at 3 pm. The family asks that those who wish to honor his memory do so by holding their loved ones close and sharing kindness with others in his name.
