Joseph Robert "Buddy" Fraser, age 90, of the Glen Haven Manor, formerly of Trenton, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on March 27, 2026.

Jesus came to get our father, brother and grandfather to be reunited with all his family who have gone before him.

He was born in Trenton on July 27, 1935, to parents Bert and Annie (Kenney) Fraser.

Buddy is survived by his wife of 69 years, Patricia "Patty" (McNeil) Fraser; children: Joe (Kathy), Roddie, Katherine (Carl "Butch"), and James (Sonya); grandchildren: David (Heidi), Jennifer (Bud), Joey (Kyla), Brent, Cheyenne (Cody), Carl (Anita), Fraser (Elizabeth), Brandon, Erika, and Riley (Tyler); numerous great-grandchildren; sisters: Margie (Eldred) MacKenzie, Mary (David) Urquhart, Sharon (Chuckie) Brown, Bernadette Cooke, and Brenda (Terk) Anderson.

Buddy was predeceased by sisters: Annie, Marie and Mabel; brother, Louis "Lewie"; sister-in-law, Mabel; brothers-in-law: Wayne, Jim and Harold.

Buddy was happiest surrounded by family and was immensely proud of all his loved ones. He loved catching up over the phone and hearing about everyone’s accomplishments.

Buddy was employed at Trenton Works for 50 years, retiring in 2000. He worked as a welder and later a welding technician.  He was a firm believer in hard work and it showed in all areas of his life. Once he was off the clock, he worked on projects around the home and being the best backyard mechanic in Trenton.

The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the incredible staff of Glen Haven Manor who became Buddy’s extended family.
